Hi, I'm Kate—the founder and creative
heart behind Katie Lynn Co. Events.
This little dream started during maternity leave as a side hustle with a simple hope—to create something that allowed me to be more present for my family while still doing something creative that I loved. I’ve always had a passion for entertaining and celebrating life’s milestones, both big and small, and somewhere along the way that passion slowly started turning into a business.
When my husband Tyler and I got married in 2018, we quickly realized how limited our local options were when it came to modern rentals and upscale event décor. Then one day I saw a white bounce house at an event and immediately thought, “Why don’t we have something like this here?” Tyler, true to form, encouraged me to go for it—and that little idea turned into Katie Lynn Co.
What started with modern white bounce houses and balloon décor quickly grew into something so much more. Today, we offer large scale balloon décor, backdrops and prop rentals, custom vinyl installations, and event styling for celebrations of all kinds. I love getting to help people take their ideas and turn them into celebrations that feel personal, intentional, and memorable.
I like to say I bring the creative ideas and spontaneity, while Tyler brings the muscle, the numbers, and the constant “yes, we can make this happen” attitude. (He jokes that he’s the unpaid intern, but honestly, I couldn’t do this without him.)
Over the past few years, this business has grown in ways we never imagined, and I’m incredibly grateful for every family, business, school, and client that has trusted us to be part of their celebrations. I’ve continued investing in education and growing my skills as a Certified Organic Balloon Artist so we can continue bringing thoughtful, high-quality designs to every event we’re part of.

While Katie Lynn Co. started with just Tyler and me, one of the sweetest parts of this journey has been watching it grow into something bigger than ourselves. Over the years, we’ve been incredibly lucky to build a team made up of talented, hardworking people from our local community who help bring our clients’ celebrations to life.
From behind-the-scenes prep days and balloon installations to hand-painted details and event setups, every member of our team plays an important role in creating the experience our clients know and love. Each person brings their own creativity, personality, and heart to what we do—and we truly couldn’t do it without them.
